Fall 2000 - Case Study in Psychic Counseling

 

THE GOLDEN COLUMN

In one of the first years of my psychic career, JT came for a reading.  She was sweet, plain or a bit gray I call it, a little sad, but nothing dramatic from appearance.  A friend had suggested she come for the experience so she dutifully did.  When I went into my 'workshop' in my mind, the most extraordinary thing happened that I can still vividly see today.  She sat in a chair several feet in front of me and descending from above was the most beautiful shimmering column of golden energy almost like flakes or chips of gold and they enveloped her.  It always has reminded me of Star Trek's 'beam me up' room, but it seemed more significant and dramatic.  As I watched JT, I had the strongest sensations that she was going to be utterly transformed almost down to a cell level.  I began getting pictures of her future which did not include her husband, to whom she was happily married.  It did not include her home or her business which she had either started or developed into a very viable enterprise.  Nothing that she was or owned would ever be the same.

Now how to tell the sweet thing all this without being laughed at or scaring her to death.  But I did tell her the entire scene…  the golden speckles, the future images, the sense of utter transformation.  She listened politely if unmoved.  She had no such plans that she knew of.  Perhaps a little discontent, but not of this magnitude.  So we parted both a bit startled and perplexed.

The time sequence eludes me now but it was several months or a couple years later that I saw her by accident in the hallway of my office.  Or I saw someone.  It certainly wasn't the JT I remembered.  She looked physically different.  Yes there was a new hairstyle and new outfit, but there was something even more fundamentally changed about her physicalness.  She was younger, prettier, more alive.  A glow perhaps.

Husband was gone.  House was gone.  Business was just being sold.  Some 'little discontent!'

In the intervening months it became clear to her that she didn't need a little fluffing up but a complete transforming makeover, and that desire set all kinds of wheels in motion.  She was ready to give up the very safe, secure life of a business woman and wife and start out on her own alone.  She found a group of people to live and work with.  She got more interested in metaphysics and spirituality.  She found or developed a totally new belief system which she lived out on a daily basis.  In short, she was totally transformed and loving it!

Over the past 15 or 20 years, I have had probably another 20 such 'Golden Column" readings which I'm sure startled each of the clients as much as they did me.  I never like getting that kind of reading. It tends to be very mystical, metaphysical, airyfairy kind of stuff.  I'd rather tell clients what street corner to be on to meet their soul mate.  I have also not followed up with all of these people, but I do know that several have had similar experiences to JT.  Their lives have been so changed that they are unrecognizable to others or even themselves.  If you are one of those golden column clients, I'd like to hear some follow-up to your story.
